Project Executive (PX) – Omaha, NE

Position Overview:
This leadership role involves overseeing multiple construction projects from preconstruction to completion. The Project Executive is responsible for ensuring project success through strategic planning, team leadership, and client engagement. Additionally, this role contributes to securing new business opportunities for the company.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to one of the following:
– Construction Executive
– Operations Manager
– Senior Operations Manager
– Regional Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
– Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and relevant organizations to drive business growth.
– Build and mentor high-performing teams by providing guidance, training, and career development opportunities. Conduct regular performance evaluations.
– Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to identify and secure new project opportunities.
– Uphold compliance with all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards on every project.
– Take a leadership role in evaluating risks, negotiating contracts, and determining pricing structures.
– Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution from the planning phase through completion.
– Lead the development and implementation of the project’s master schedule.
– Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
– Champion the integration of innovative technologies and process improvements within the organization.
– Supervise the execution of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
– Enforce safety standards and best practices across all project sites.
– Actively contribute to the community and align company resources with broader business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree required, along with a minimum of 18 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on expertise.
– Deep understanding of construction management principles, including cost control, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and engineering methodologies.
– Strong business development skills, with an ability to identify and secure new opportunities.
– Knowledge of the regional construction market and proven ability to close sales.
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
– Advanced presentation abilities and experience delivering proposals to key stakeholders.
– Skilled in interpreting and managing contract documents, blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.
– Experience implementing emerging technologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean methodologies, to enhance project efficiency.
– Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building capabilities.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires mobility around active construction sites, including climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding. Candidates must have the ability to maneuver through confined or elevated workspaces and adjust to varying environmental conditions. Vision requirements include depth perception, peripheral awareness, and the ability to focus. Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds may be required.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily based at construction sites, where exposure to moving machinery, elevated work areas, airborne particles, and outdoor elements is expected. Work conditions may range from moderate to high noise levels, with occasional risks associated with electrical components.
