CNC Mastercam Programmer / Operator – Aerospace Manufacturing

ResourceOne is partnering with an aerospace manufacturing company in the Rockwall/Dallas area to identify experienced CNC Mastercam programming, setup and operating talent. The company also has an opportunity for a Surface Plate Inspector.

The Opportunity

Help improve productivity and produce high-quality parts through accurate setup, machining, quality checks and monitoring of machine output. Compensation varies by position and experience; see the role-specific details below.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC equipment as appropriate to the position.
• Set up and operate Haas 5-axis CNC mills and multi-axis lathes.
• Apply an understanding of feeds and speeds to machining operations.
• Read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Perform work quality checks and monitor machine output to support quality production.
• Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, steels, plastics, copper, Invar/Kovar, Inconel and titanium.
• Collaborate with and mentor other programmers and operators.

Ideal Background

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of Mastercam experience required; mill and lathe experience preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating Haas 5-axis CNC mills and multi-axis lathes.
• Strong basic math skills, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and accurately interpret complex written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, dependable transportation and a positive team approach.
• Ability to stand for an entire eight-hour shift and handle medium to heavy lifting.
• Must pass a drug screen and complete required employment eligibility verification and background screening.

Compensation & Benefits

• Advertised annual salary range: $60,000–$80,000; compensation depends on the specific position.
• Mastercam Programmer/Setup: $80,000+ salary range.
• Mastercam Operator: $25–$40 per hour.
• Surface Plate Inspector: $25–$40 per hour.
